Bogotá - Colombia

Our 2nd stop of our 5 month world trip is in Bogotá. We had the opportunity to go to a professional basketball game (Los Piratas de Bogota vs Los Patriotas de Boyaca). Here there is a lot of opportunity for improvement for this sport that is truly under developed. Still it was pretty fun to watch as they are not quite as good as USA players.

Also, got our wedding rings shined and re engraved for only 20 dollars on the same block where the gold museum is located. So you know, in Colombia you can actually get 18k gold rings made, there are multiple blocks full of jewelry stores in downtown Bogota.

Here is David having some local lunch in Cota (a small town 15 min to the north, which is an area that's becoming really exclusive and packed with housing that average around 500k)

Also, got to go to a tango show in a very cool theater (Casa E, Teatro Arlequin) that had about 10 medium rooms, which was great as it made the shows kinda private, and on top of that the dancers brought David and I on stage to tango with them in front of everyone, so I think we did pretty good! (I did at least ;))

And to properly end the visit , we had my cousin's wedding and my 31st birthday! (Just priceless)

Next stop Amsterdam on Avianca (pretty good Colombian airline) we didn't buy first class but at least got exit row with extra leg room for David's basketball long legs :p
